£90.00 to £100 per day
CER are currently recruiting for an Educational Support Worker for an SEND School in Wirral. The school caters for children aged 9 to 18 who demonstrate a wide range of challenging behaviour and can be very demanding of time, attention and emotion.
The role is full time (Monday to Friday 8:30am till 3:30pm) and will be offered initially until December 2025 as it is covering a Maternity leave. The school have advised that they would be happy to consider part time applicants as long as they pocess the relevent experience.
Main Responsibilities:
Support children aged 5 to 18 with Autsim, Severe Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs
Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students by facilitating and encouraging a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
To contribute to raising standards of student's attainment and behaviour.
Share and support the schools responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
Promote school policies on behaviour.
Support and implement strategies to manage behaviour.
Employ strategies for behaviour management and report any problems.
