Egg Farm Picker - 5-7 Days a Week (7am-1pm)

Location: LA6 - 4 miles from Carnforth, 8 miles from Lancaster

Pay: £12.21 per hour (increasing to £12.71)

Are you looking for an active, hands‑on role working with animals? We are currently recruiting an Egg Farm Picker to join a busy farm team in the LA6 area. This is a great opportunity for someone reliable, physically fit, and confident working with live poultry.

Working Hours

7:00am - 1:00pm
Flexibility on working days
Ideally available 5, 6 or 7 days per week
Reliability is essential, as the chickens require daily care

Key Responsibilities

Collecting eggs throughout the farm
Handling and working closely with live chickens
Cleaning coops, sheds, and general farm areas
Feeding and watering livestock
Maintaining clean and safe working environments
Assisting with wider farm duties as needed

About You

This role would suit someone who:

Is physically fit and comfortable with an active, hands‑on role
Is confident working with animals, especially chickens
Is reliable, committed, and able to work early shifts
Enjoys routine and practical farm tasks
Is happy working in all conditions and isn't afraid to get stuck in
