Educational Health Care Plan Co-ordinator - Further Education College
Aylesbury
£30,484 per annum (Pro rata for fractional posts)
Full-Time | 37 Hours per Week
Are you passionate about supporting learners with additional needs and helping them overcome barriers to education? We're working in partnership with a leading Further Education college in the South to recruit a dedicated Educational Health Care Plan Co-ordinator to join their high-performing Learning Support team.
The Role
As EHCP Co-ordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring high-quality provision for students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), in line with the SEND Code of Practice. Working across three campuses, you'll collaborate with curriculum staff, parents/carers, and external agencies to coordinate and review EHCPs and drive outcomes for learners with SEND.
What You'll Need:
Two A-Levels (or equivalent Level 3), plus GCSEs in English and Maths
Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and Preparing for Adulthood
Extensive experience supporting learners with additional needs and liaising with families and professionals
Deep knowledge of EHCP processes, including annual reviews
Awareness of the challenges faced by learners with SEND in FE settings
