About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Electrically biased EHS Advisor to join our clients team on a major infrastructure project. This is a site-based role where you will be the first point of contact for all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) matters within your designated scope of works. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with EHS standards, supporting operational teams, and promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular site inspections and audits
Support the development and implementation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
Actively intervene and report when unsafe practices are observed.
Deliver EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and briefings.
Assist in emergency preparedness planning and drills.
Lead or support incident investigations and reporting.
Ensure compliance with site-specific EHS plans and procedures.
Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to ensure coordinated EHS efforts.
Promote and model adherence to Life Saving Rules and Zero Harm initiatives.Essential Requirements
NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of EHS experience on large-scale construction projects.
Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and construction site practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Current CCNSG Safety Passport (or willingness to obtain post-offer).Desirable Qualifications & Experience
ISO45001 Internal Auditor certification.
First Aid at Work qualification.
Experience in large electrical installations.
Recognised training in incident investigation, manual handling, PASMA, or IPAF.What We Offer
