EHS and Sustainability Specialist – £35,000-£40,000 | Telford

We’re on the hunt for a passionate EHS and Sustainability Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. What You’ll Be Doing
You'll be a catalyst for improvement, working closely with teams across the UK to:
• Cultivate a behavioural safety culture
• Drive legal compliance and best practice in health, safety, and sustainability
• Lead carbon footprint data collection, reporting, and reduction initiatives
• Deliver training, audits, and risk assessments
• Spearhead sustainability projects and incident investigations
• Champion safety and environmental performance at all levels
This role is perfect for someone who doesn’t just tick boxes but is ready to challenge the status quo and bring fresh, modern techniques to the table.
What You’ll Bring
• 3+ years' experience in EHS or sustainability in manufacturing or similar industries
• Knowledge of UK EHS legislation and sustainability compliance
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Experience with process safety, incident root cause analysis, and behavioural change
• A forward-thinking, data-driven mindset
Ideally, you will bring experience with ISO 50001, lean/6S tools, or ergonomics-focused design.
🎓 Qualifications
• A-Level Maths & English
• A degree in Sustainability Management or Occupational Health & Safety is preferred but not essential
