GDS Partners are recruiting an EHS Manager on behalf of a leading Main Contractor for a permanent position based in Skellefteå, Sweden.

About the Role:
Based in Skellefteå, Sweden.
Work on a major Data Centre construction project.

€80,000 - €90,000 (DOE) + Living Abroad Package.
Permanent position with excellent long-term career progression. Main Responsibilities:
Work with EHS lead to Lead all Environmental, Health & Safety activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop, implement and maintain Health & Safety policies, procedures and management systems.
Promote a positive Health & Safety culture across all site activities.
Carry out regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
Review and approve RAMS and ensure compliance with safe systems of work.
Monitor subcontractor compliance with company standards and project requirements.
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing Health & Safety training.
Liaise with project teams, clients and subcontractors to ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
Produce Health & Safety reports and drive continuous improvement across the project. Requirements:
Previous experience as an EHS Manager, Health & Safety Manager or Senior EHS Advisor on major construction projects.
Main Contractor experience is essential.
Data Centre, mission-critical or large-scale commercial construction experience is highly desirable.
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and CDM principles.
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
EU passport or the right to work in Sweden would be advantageous. What's on Offer
