Tate are delighted to be working with a local authority on an Electoral Services Administrator position. This is a short term 4 week opportunity and is based on site 5 days a week with no hybrid flexibility.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a local authority and they are looking for a strong candidate with experience in the following duties:
Assist with the compilation of the annual Register of Electors including the maintenance of the, on-line updating of data from prime documents, processing of special category electors.
Administer voter applications and queries relating to all aspects of Voter ID and postal votes including the use of the Government portal and approving the applications.
Assist with the provision of poll cards, absent votes, ballot papers, stationery, official notices and registers for polling parties.
Carry out all duties connected with elections and referendums, including use of the in-house bespoke system.
Respond to enquiries and communications from members of the public in relation to electoral matters.
Safeguard children, young people and adults at risk and make referrals to the appropriate agency.
