Electric Vehicle Diagnostic Technician
Lutterworth
£42K p/a plus OT
Hours: 47.5 per week, two shifts:
06:00 - 16:00
15:00 - 00:00 (midnight)About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join a Prep Centre in Lutterworth. You'll be working with over 1,600 vehicles each month, helping to prepare them for our growing network of stores.
General Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair faults across multiple vehicle makes and models
Handle complex electrical and mechanical issues
Carry out software updates, calibrations, and reprogramming
Support colleagues with technical expertise
Ensure all vehicles meet quality standards before sale
Keep accurate service and diagnostic recordsTo be considered, you must have:
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
Strong diagnostic skills, with multi-brand experience preferred
Confident using fault codes, wiring diagrams, and technical data
Background in a fast-paced workshop environment
High attention to detail and pride in your work
Team player with good communication skills
Full UK driving licenceThis role offers:
