Job Description

A leading UK manufacturer is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Leader to oversee the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical and control systems at a large-scale production facility. You will act as the site's electrical authority, ensuring compliance, driving improvement initiatives, and supporting the development of engineering capability across the site. Key Responsibilities: Lead electrical reliability, compliance, and improvement programmes across site assets. Ensure all electrical systems, including power distribution and automation, meet statutory and safety standards. Provide technical guidance and leadership for electrical maintenance and project delivery. Develop and implement electrical standards, specifications, and safe systems of work. Lead fault investigations, RCA, and reliability-centred maintenance activities. Support capital project design, installation, and commissioning. Coach and mentor maintenance teams to build electrical competence and safety awareness. Requirements: Degree-qualified or apprentice-trained Electrical Engineer. Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent experience preferred. Strong background in electrical systems, controls, and automation within FMCG or process industries. Working knowledge of EAWR, PUWER, and relevant British Standards. Proven ability to lead engineering improvement and reliability initiatives. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
