🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
* Maintain and optimise electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems to keep operations running safely and smoothly.
* Troubleshoot, inspect, diagnose and repair critical equipment in a proactive and timely manner.
* Conduct routine testing and maintenance to ensure our instrumentation is always in top working condition.
* Lead installations of new equipment—including wiring, mounting, programming, and commissioning.
* Keep records up to date, including safety checks, repairs, and modifications to ensure compliance and reliability.
🌟 What Makes You Great
* Completed an apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, ONC) in electrical or instrumentation.
* COMPEX qualification for working in Hazardous Areas.
* Around 2 years’ experience in maintenance, ideally in a chemical or process plant environment.
* A proactive problem-solver who stays calm under pressure and always puts safety first.
* Awareness of Health & Safety practices and major accident hazard controls.
* A collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
