Job Description
Groomfield Recruitment are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, dedicated individual to join a well-established, successful client based in Tamworth B79 as an Electrical Assembler. If you're looking for a stable role with plenty of opportunities for growth, this could be the perfect fit for you!
Location: Tamworth B79
Working Hours: 07:45 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday / 07:00 to 12:00 Friday (40 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £14.93 (after 6 months: £16.48)
Temporary to Permanent or Permanent Position (dependent on client’s needs).
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret and work from technical drawings with great attention to detail.
* Assemble and wire control panels, including the installation and mounting of electrical components.
* Select the correct parts and materials for each assembly.
* Maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous electrical assembly experience (preferred but not essential).
* Comfortable using hand tools (screwdrivers, drills, crimping tools, etc.).
* Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills.
* Able to work individually or as part of a team.
* Ability to meet KPIs and work to set targets.
