Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to join a high-performing design team within a major energy infrastructure project. This 6-month contract offers a hybrid work model with 3 days per week in the Manchester office.
🔌 Electrical Building Services Design Engineer
📍 Manchester | 3 Days On-Site | 6-Month Contract (Outside IR35)

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Design & specification of auxiliary systems (⚡ lighting, 🔥 fire detection, 🔐 access control, 🎥 CCTV)
*
Review client specifications and supplier technical documents
*
Approve subcontractor design packages
*
Ensure compliance with industry standards (BS7671)
✅ What You’ll Need:
*
HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering / Building Services
*
BS7671 (18th Edition) certification
*
Experience with Dialux, Amtech and/or Hevacomp
*
Skilled in AutoCAD / Revit
