Electrical CAD Engineer
We're on the lookout for a Electrical CAD Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in electrical design and panel layout work for building automation systems.

What you'll be doing:
Create detailed electrical designs and schematics using CAD software
Develop wiring diagrams, layouts, and panel designs for control systems
Size and specify MCBs, transformers, and 24V power supplies
Prepare supporting documentation including panel schedules, bill of materials, and equipment specifications
Maintain accurate design records and as-built documentation
Work closely with the engineering team to understand project requirements and ensure accurate integration of I/O components
What we're looking for:
Qualification in Electrical Design, Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or WSCAD for electrical schematics
Understanding of I/O wiring, MCB sizing, and control panel design
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
A collaborative approach with the ability to learn from senior engineers
Familiarity with Trend or Tridium systems is a plus but not essential
