Job Description
Blackburn Starling & Co Ltd are looking for an experienced Electrical CAD Technician to join their existing team on a permanent basis at their office in Nottingham. As a specialist business in the manufacturing of MCC’s and power control sector, you’ll get the opportunity to work on technically complex and challenging projects, alongside a multi-disciplinary team of Design Engineers & Technicians who have an extensive background and experience within the industry.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
* Work with design teams and project delivery teams to produce drawings
* Independently work and manage timescales against project programmes
* Produce plans and technical drawings for projects
* Make changes to exiting designs
* Checking the quality of information collected on site, and the successful transition to deliverables
* Any other duties as required by the business
What Do You Need?
* Qualified to HNC level would be advantageous, but not necessary
* Good knowledge in the use of AutoCAD & 3D modelling
* Keen focus on quality whilst also be able to work at pace within a multi-disciplinary team
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Full UK Driving Licence
