Electrical Commissioning Engineer – Data Centre Projects | Helsinki, Finland
€100,000–€105,000 + Rotation + Flights + Accommodation + Excellent Benefits
Are you an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer looking to join one of Europe’s leading data centre delivery partners? This is an outstanding opportunity to work on major hyperscale projects in Helsinki, supporting the delivery of world-class MEP systems across Europe.
Our client is a specialist engineering contractor providing turnkey data centre solutions, from design and build through to full commissioning. With projects across seven European countries and over 430MW of IT load in progress, this is a company at the forefront of high-tech construction.
As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you’ll play a key role in managing all aspects of electrical commissioning. You’ll coordinate with project teams and vendors to ensure all systems, including LV/MV, UPS, switchgear, generators, and BMS controls, are tested, validated, and fully operational in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate all electrical commissioning activities
* Oversee FATs, FWTs, and witness vendor testing
* Ensure compliance with commissioning procedures and documentation
* Liaise closely with QA/QC, AP, and project management teams
* Conduct on-site commissioning, testing, and verification
* Report progress against programme milestones and deadlines
About You:
* Electrical Engineering qualification or relevant trade certification
* 3+ years’ experience in commissioning within data centre, industrial, or large-scale commercial projects
* Strong understanding of LV/MV/HV systems, testing & verification
* Process-driven mindset with focus on safety, quality, and delivery
