Job Description

Overview: We are working with a leading MEP contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to oversee the electrical delivery on a major landmark project in Central London. With an MEP value of circa £20m, this long-term scheme is currently in the pre-construction phase and is set to run until mid-2027 — offering a rare opportunity for stability, career progression, and involvement from early stages through to completion. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage all electrical construction activities on site. * Oversee subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery. * Review technical drawings, programmes, and specifications. * Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards. * Coordinate with the wider project team, resolving technical and design challenges. * Monitor progress against programme and budget, reporting to senior management. * Manage procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical services. * Prepare handover documentation and ensure client satisfaction. Requirements: * Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager within large-scale MEP projects. * Strong background in complex commercial, healthcare, or critical environment projects. * Recognised electrical qualifications (HNC/HND, NVQ, JIB Gold Card, or equivalent). * Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills. * Solid knowledge of health & safety legislation and MEP site management.
