Croydon
£60,000 - £70,000 DOE + Travel expenses + Bonuses + Holiday + Pension
Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with a background in building services, ready to step into a leadership role? Do you want to take full ownership of projects, lead design teams, and have complete autonomy over the engineering process-from concept through to completion?
Are you an experienced Design Engineer with an electrical background eager to lead projects where your influence, control, and direction can directly impact the success and growth of the business?
On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established, close-knit design firm with over 20 years of experience. The company delivers a wide range of projects across England, including large-scale residential developments, banks, government buildings, and university campuses. Due to a surge in project demand, they are expanding and looking to add talented new members to their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for electrical design across diverse projects, preparing all deliverables, and maintaining the highest quality standards. You'll conduct site surveys, liaise directly with clients, and develop proposals for new work throughout England.
This position is perfect for an Electrical Engineer with a building services background who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional results. The Role:
Lead and manage the electrical design team, providing engineering support and mentoring junior staff to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Carry out electrical design, project management, client liaison, site surveys, and quality inspections in line with company procedures and standards.
Monitor and manage financial aspects of projects.
