Your background as an Electrical Design Engineer:

  * Electrical design experience with LV systems, low-voltage 400/230v AC power distribution, lighting, heating, and small power distribution, and plant power e.g., switchboards / Motor Control Centres.

  * Experience of using industry standard CAD and calculation software e.g., Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD, or Revit.

  * You will be degree qualified (2:1 or above) in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a desire to become a Chartered Engineer (if not already achieved).

  * Experience in building services, energy, oil & gas, utilities, or similar engineering sectors is a big plus.

What you will be doing as an Electrical Design Engineer:

  * Designing and delivering electrical systems for innovative energy and utilities projects.

  * Producing electrical designs to relevant industry standards (e.g., BS7671, BS7430, Electricity at Work regulations).

  * Taking projects from initial design through to customer handover.

  * Supporting the planning of projects and helping to create project schedules.

  * Working closely with other engineers and project teams to find creative, efficient solutions.
