Electrical Design Engineer

£50,000 - £55,000 + 33 Days Holiday + Private Healthcare + Company Bonus

Office based role, commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Stroud, Ross-on-Wye and the surrounding areas.

Are you a Electrical Design Engineer managing projects from cradle to grave looking to work for a globally renowned manufacturer where you will be given the opportunity to take charge of your schedule and make autonomous decisions within a small yet highly effective team?

This is a rare and genuinely exciting position where you will work as a technical expert on complex systems and projects, all whilst benefitting from the freedom to make key decisions in a major aspect of the company's success.

The role involves designing electrical systems for standard and special-purpose machinery, producing schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs in line with customer specifications. You will work closely with mechanical and software teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, compliance, and cost requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

The role would suit someone from an Electrical Design background, looking to join an industry leading business and have the autonomy to make key decisions.

The Role:
 *Design electrical systems for standard and special-purpose machinery
 *Produce schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials
 *Ensure designs meet customer, safety, and compliance requirements
 *Collaborate closely with mechanical and software teams
