🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead and deliver end-to-end electrical design for a wide range of projects
Work in close coordination with structural, civil, and geotechnical teams
Prepare, review, and manage complete design documentation: drawings, specs, and technical reports
Ensure all designs meet UK regulations (including CDM, BS/EN standards)
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing and development
Attend project meetings, undertake site visits and support bid/tender processes
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Solid experience in electrical design for infrastructure, buildings, rail, or construction
Strong grasp of systems such as:
LV/HV distribution
Lighting (internal, external, emergency)
Power systems and load assessments
Standby generation and UPS
Earthing and bonding
Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, MicroStation, Amtech, Hevacomp, Dialux, or similar
Minimum of HND in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field
Working knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Ideally progressing toward IEng/CEng (IET, CIBSE) or keen to do so
