Key Responsibilities
Create and develop electrical schematics for specialist systems.
Analyse and improve the performance and reliability of electrical designs.
Generate and manage technical documentation to support design outputs.
Specify cables, protective devices, and components in line with project needs.
Collaborate closely with engineers and project stakeholders.
Contribute to design reviews and provide technical input across programmes.
Participate in team meetings and support project delivery across the full lifecycle.
Requirements
Essential:
Minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and standards.
Hands-on experience in selecting and specifying components.
Familiarity with schematic capture and drawing tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Team-focused, adaptable, and proactive approach.
Must be eligible for UK security clearance (due to defence projects).Desirable:
Experience with full system design in a regulated environment.
Background in electronics and embedded technologies.
Experience using Zuken E3 or similar design tools.
