📍 Kintore | 💼 2-Year Fixed-Term Contract | 💷 £60,000 – £70,000 per annum
✈️ UK & International Travel | 🧪 2-hour interview (includes technical test & site tour)
We’re hiring a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading engineering site known for delivering cutting-edge wireline systems and wellhead pressure control equipment. This is a 2-year fixed-term contract, offering a rare opportunity to be part of a globally connected team working on high-specification, technically complex equipment.
You’ll play a key role in designing bespoke hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems, collaborating across multiple project phases from early-stage proposals to on-site commissioning. If you're passionate about detail-driven engineering and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role could be your next challenge.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing innovative, customer-focused electrical systems using advanced CAE tools
* Leading design projects end-to-end, including cost estimates, testing, and documentation
* Providing technical support to internal teams and global clients—including occasional on-site visits
* Ensuring all work complies with relevant standards and supports operational excellence
What We’re Looking For
* Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering
* Strong background in electrical design, ideally within oil & gas or a related sector
* Proficiency in CAE tools and familiarity with industry documentation standards
* In-depth knowledge of engineering regulations and compliance requirements
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
* Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical systems
* Understanding of manufacturing technologies and design-for-manufacture principles
* Previous exposure to international, cross-functional project teams
