Job Description
Electrical Design Engineer required for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in Denmark.
Key responsibilities
The consultant will support offshore wind projects in different phases by conducting EMT and Stability studies.
Develop and validate detailed EMT and RMS models for key electrical assets.
Perform EMT studies and dynamic stability studies, including small signal and transient analyses.
Verify system behaviour against TSO requirements; prepare technical documentation for grid code submission and support grid connection team.
Consolidate and report study results; support the project team with technical assessments and cross-functional tasks.
Execute the tasks across different projects depending on specific study requirements and priorities of the projects.
Ensure all work is conducted in alignment with internal guidelines, methodologies, and quality standards.
Seeking a resource with a flexible mindset, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and adaptable to varying project workloads; average resource indication subject to change based on project demands.Requirements
* Proven experience with PSCAD and relevant software tools.
* Familiarity with dynamic vendor models, like wind turbines, STATCOMs, and SynCons, etc.
* Ability to work independently and follow company's established methodologies and QA processesBefore You Apply
