Job Description
We need a Electrical Design Engineer, Contractor job opportunity with an expected contract duration of 1 year, with the possibility of the role being extended for longer.
Hybrid role based in TfL’s Stratford office (Endeavour Square). 3 days in office 2 days WFH. Rate is £38 to £43 negotiable
About the role, LV power & lighting designs on a major telecoms project delivering 4G & 5G infrastructure to the London Underground.
• Will be responsible for producing high quality design packs consisting of but not limited to drawings, calculations, schedules, and specifications.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D, Trimble ProDesign (Amtech), Dialux, and MS Office required.
• Good communication skills, willing to take on responsibility, willing to liaise with external parties, willing to fully integrate into the team.
• Strong knowledge of British design standards.
• Experience on TfL (specifically London Underground) projects and knowledge of TfL Cat 1 standards is a must.
