Inverurie (Office-Based)
£45,000 – £50,200 per annum
Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge engineering projects within a global organisation? This is your opportunity to join a forward-thinking team where your technical expertise will directly influence the development of innovative systems used across the energy sector.
What You’ll Be Doing
Designing, developing, and validating electrical engineering solutions for complex systems.
Leading small to medium-sized design projects with support from senior engineers.
Preparing and reviewing technical documentation including drawings, manuals, and reports.
Participating in design and contract reviews, ensuring commercial and technical alignment.
Supporting factory acceptance testing, site installations, and commissioning activities.
Managing engineering change processes and maintaining accurate project records.What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in electrical design engineering, ideally within a regulated industry.
Proficiency in Eplan and Autodesk Inventor.
Strong knowledge of IEC Standards, EU Directives, CE Marking, ATEX, and IECEx.
Familiarity with ISO9001, PLM/PDM systems, and 3D CAD tools.
Experience with electromechanical systems and modern manufacturing practices.
