Job Description
A highly successful power solutions business is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to have a stake in the continued evolution of the company. You’ll be developing the electrical components and control system electricals within our evolving products.

Requirements
* Strong background as an Electrical Engineer
* Strong understanding of electrical schematics, layout drawings, and wiring regulations
* Experience in control panel design and wiring schematics
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, BOM structures, and documentation best practices
Bonus
* Awareness of mechanical design integration and familiarity with 3D modelling
* SolidWorks Electrical
* AutoCAD
Role
* Take customer requirements and translate them into detailed specifications
* Design and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
* Work with Mechanical Engineers in transitioning from 2D AutoCAD to SolidWorks for schematics and 3D Geometry.
* Collaborate closely with mechanical, software and systems engineers to integrate full control systems
* Support the development of vendor relationships, ensuring quality and adherence to specs
* Produce high-quality documentation including BOMs, layouts, and electrical calculation
* Present and discuss design ideas with both internal teams and suppliers
* Contribute to ongoing product development by addressing complex design challenges
