Job Description
Are you an Electrical Design Engineer looking for an exciting Electrical Design opportunity in Wiltshire ?

Our client is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer/ Junior Electrical Engineer to join a growing team and help with maintaning production level and quality. You will receive support and development which will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further yourself and progress your career within a continually expanding business.
Your core responsibilities are:
* Create detailed electrical schematics, 2D layouts, and wiring diagrams for control panels, compliant with customer specifications and industry standards using CAD software for electrical design (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar)
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into new machinery.
* Support the panel assembly team during build and testing phases of control panels.
* Document design revisions, support DCNs (Design Change Notices), and participate in design reviews.
* Support the commissioning team to ensure successful FAT and SAT.
Your profile:
* You will have completed a formal qualification in an Engineering discipline.
* You can demonstrate a practical approach to engineering to develop cost effective solution that meet customer requirements.
* You will be proficient in CAD software for electrical design (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).
* You ideally will have experience with machine safety and functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849).
* You will have good verbal and written communication skills. - You will enjoy the technical aspects in this role.
* You will ideally have gained experience in a dynamic engineering role and you are able to enjoy the attention to detail.
* You will enjoy working with a variety of people and able to apply a logical approach to your work.
* You will need to be conversant with an internal ERP system after a period of training
