Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality electrical & instrumentation designs across multiple industries.
* Produce electrical installation deliverables compliant with BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations (18th Edition).
* Generate 2D/3D electrical layouts, containment routing diagrams, cable calculations, loop diagrams & comms network diagrams.
* Conduct site surveys and provide construction assistance.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Process, HVAC, Civil).
* Liaise with subcontractors and contribute to continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
* HNC/Degree in Electrical/Engineering subject.
* Experience in water utility sector electrical installation design.
* Knowledge of E&I design best practice & lifecycle management.
* Familiar with CDM Regulations 2015 (experience as a “Designer”).
* Knowledge of hazardous area design (intrinsically safe calcs, inspections).
* Strong software skills:
* AutoCAD LT, Relux/DIALux, Trimble (Amtech) ProDesign
* Revit, Aveva, Navisworks
* MS Office Suite
