In this role, he successful Electrical Engineer or similar will be responsible for the development and integration of high voltage systems within battery storage products. You will perform both reactive and planned maintenance from various locations, including both the workshop as well as customer sites as and when needed. In addition, you will be responsible for the testing, troubleshooting and optimisation of said high voltage systems. On top of this, you will also be responsible for ensuring all systems meet national and international safety standards. Adding to that, you will be responsible for providing technical support during off-site operations, as well as the collaboration of cross-functional teams alongside the training/mentoring junior technicians. Finally, you will be responsible for keeping accurate technical documentation of any projects worked.
The ideal Electrical Engineer or similar will have a background within the Power/Grid/Renewables/Battery/EV/Plant Sector or a related field. Ideally, but not essentially, you will have previous experience working with high voltage systems and/or battery storage systems. In addition, you will also have previous experience within electrical testing/troubleshooting. On top of this, you will have strong organisational, communicational and analytical skill. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver's license.
