Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Euston

Location: Euston, Central London
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Sector: Commercial Facilities Management / Building Services

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team at a prestigious commercial building in Euston.

The role will focus on the delivery of landlord M&E services, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the building and ensuring electrical and associated building services are maintained to a high standard.

You will work as part of a small site-based engineering team, providing a professional service to the client and building occupiers.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include carrying out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance, fault finding and remedial works across the building.

You will maintain electrical distribution, lighting and emergency lighting systems while also supporting the wider M&E services across the site, including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, BMS and general plant room equipment.

The position will also involve completing compliance documentation, managing permits where required, escorting specialist subcontractors and ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures.

What We're Looking For

You will need a recognised electrical qualification such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, along with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Previous experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a commercial Building Services or Facilities Management environment is required.

You should have strong electrical fault-finding skills, a good understanding of landlord M&E services and be comfortable working within a client-facing commercial environment.

2391 Inspection & Testing would be advantageous but is not essential.
