Job Description

Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Electrical Engineer, will be responsible for:

  * Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance in line with contractual KPIs and SLAs, ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard.

  * Diagnose faults, undertake electrical repairs, and support basic plumbing and fabric maintenance tasks where required.

  * Maintain accurate work records, certification, logbooks, and compliance documentation using company systems and procedures.

  * Support subcontractor management activities, including reviewing RAMS, coordinating site access, and minimising disruption to the client.

  * Promote health & safety compliance, identify defects and improvement opportunities, and provide operational support and reporting to management.

To be successful for this Electrical Engineer role you must have:

  * Electrical qualification to City & Guilds Levels 1, 2 & 3 (or equivalent).

  * Health & Safety qualification or certification.

  * Experience delivering electrical maintenance within a commercial or facilities management environment.

  * Good understanding of building services systems including heating, chilled water, air distribution, domestic water, UPS, and generator systems.

  * IT proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
