Are you an Electrical Engineer with high-voltage experience looking to work at the forefront of the renewable energy sector? This role is ideal for someone looking to progress in a technical environment, the chance to work towards HV authorisation. With a solid workload secured until 2027 and beyond, you'll be joining a stable and growing team working on projects that are shaping the UK's net-zero transition.
As an Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
*Design 11-132 kV connections for solar, wind and battery projects
*Produce SLDs, layouts, cable schedules and commissioning documents
*Carry out site audits and enforce CDM/HV safety rules
*Check grid studies (G99, load flow, harmonics) for compliance
*Train towards HV switching authorisation (AP/SAP)
The ideal Electrical Engineer will have:
*HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
*3+ years' HV engineering experience (renewables/utilities)
*Solid HV design and calculation skills
*Clear, confident communicator with suppliers and stakeholders
*Willing to travel UK‐wide
*Full UK driving licence
