Electrical Engineer – Cranes
Location: Sheffield
Job Type: Full-time
Specialising in the service, inspection, repair, and modernisation of overhead cranes.
Duties of the Electrical Engineer:
*
Performing routine service, inspection, and repair work on overhead cranes.
*
Carrying out electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting on industrial lifting equipment.
*
Installing, upgrading, and modernising crane systems in line with project requirements.
*
Completing detailed service reports and maintaining accurate job records.
*
Liaising with customers on-site to ensure high levels of satisfaction and safety.
*
Supporting emergency breakdowns and urgent callouts where required.
The Ideal Electrical Engineer:
*
A strong background in electrical engineering, preferably apprentice trained or equivalent.
*
Familiarity with mechanical systems is advantageous.
*
Solid understanding of safety practices and willingness to follow procedures.
*
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Package Offered to the Electrical Engineer:

£20-£22ph
