Experienced Electrical Engineer - Pathway to Refrigeration
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge? We have a unique opportunity for someone with strong electrical fault-finding skills to transition into the refrigeration industry. Our client, a leading provider of refrigeration solutions, is willing to invest in your development by providing a certified refrigeration course to get you up to speed.
This role is ideal for a skilled Electrical Engineer who is confident in their ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings and diagnose faults efficiently. While refrigeration experience is a bonus, the client recognises that the core of this role—up to 80% of the work—is electrical.
The Role
* Job Title: Refrigeration Engineer
* Location: Based in Bedford, with national travel to various customer sites.
* Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience.
As an engineer, you'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of refrigeration systems. Your electrical expertise will be critical in diagnosing and resolving issues, with the client providing full training on the refrigeration-specific aspects of the role.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role.
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills and the ability to read electrical drawings.
* A valid UK driving license.
* A valid electrical inspection certificate
* The desire to learn and develop new skills in the refrigeration sector.
