Job Description

Key Responsibilities Support the Production Works Supervisor in tracking contracts through the engineering and works phases using the company's systems and filing. Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and technical departments on product design and function. Develop electrical engineering deliverables for contracts, including control circuits, wiring diagrams, and related documentation. Create and revise electrical and mechanical drawings (circuit diagrams, panel layouts, site wiring). Provide accurate technical data to Contracts Engineers to ensure equipment meets design and compliance standards. Maintain and update technical service documents and datasheets (e.g. for instruments, controllers), and communicate component selection to colleagues. Support commissioning and service staff with technical/electrical troubleshooting (remotely or on-site as needed). Collaborations With Purchasing · Applications · Contracts Engineering · Service Division Experience & Skills Practical engineering experience, preferably within a quality-oriented (e.g. ISO 9001) environment. Background in electrical engineering services is preferred; experience in high-temperature or steam systems is a plus. Familiarity with high voltage systems is advantageous. Skilled in AutoCAD for electrical diagrams / P&IDs / general assemblies. Experience with circuit design software (e.g. EPLAN, SEE Electrical) is desirable. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint. Proven ability to manage medium-scale, multidisciplinary technical projects. Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask. Qualifications Formal education in Electrical Engineering or related field (HNC/HND or Degree strongly preferred). Relevant industry experience is valuable and may offset formal qualifications. Communication Excellent written and spoken English. Able to communicate clearly and work effectively with colleagues at all levels, as well as with customers and suppliers. Knowledge of another European language is a bonus, though not required
