Job Overview:
To support the maintenance team in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the factory. You will work across multiple areas to maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities:
Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance
* Implement and manage electrical and mechanical systems to minimise downtime.
* Develop and maintain a structured PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) program.
* Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns promptly.
* Conduct routine testing, inspections, and maintenance.
Continuous Improvement
* Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
* Support management, maintenance, and production teams as required.
* Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
Reporting and Collaboration
* Provide regular updates to the Engineering Manager and other key stakeholders.
* Work closely with Operations to ensure optimal factory performance.
Skills and Experience Required for the role:
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
* Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs, SCADA systems (Citect), and Rockwell software (Studio5000, RS Logix).
* Knowledge of HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial electrical components.
* CAD and Factory Talk experience desirable.
