Electrical Engineer – Corporate Office Building
Canary Wharf, London
£48,000 Basic Salary + Excellent Benefits
Monday to Friday (Split Shifts: 7am–4pm / 9am–6pm)
1-in-4 Call Out Rota (£75/week standby)
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a small, high-performing on-site engineering team at a prestigious corporate office building in the heart of Canary Wharf. You'll play a key role in maintaining the building's critical systems, ensuring uptime, safety, and efficiency, with the support of a tight-knit team of three engineers.

What You’ll Be Doing
*
Electrical PPMs, fault-finding, and reactive maintenance
*
Supporting planned maintenance and small works/projects (including out-of-hours when required)
*
Participation in building shutdowns and infrastructure upgrades
*
Supporting mechanical tasks where needed (cross-discipline teamwork)
*
Ensuring compliance with health & safety and site standards
What We’re Looking For
*
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installations / Engineering
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
*
Proven commercial building maintenance experience
*
Good communication and problem-solving skills
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
*
Flexible to support call-outs and out-of-hours works when required
