A leading Facilities Management company is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Engineer to join their dedicated team within a prestigious hospital environment. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support essential healthcare operations, ensuring the safe and efficient running of electrical and building services systems within a critical, 24/7 facility.
Working as part of the on-site engineering team, the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and fault diagnosis across a range of hospital systems including emergency lighting, fire alarms, power distribution, generators, UPS, AHUs, and control panels. The role also involves supporting compliance with statutory testing, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with clinical and FM teams to minimise disruption to patient services.
The ideal candidate will hold City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations (or equivalent), 18th Edition wiring regulations, and have proven experience within critical FM environments. A proactive approach, strong problem-solving ability, and a commitment to safety and high standards are essential.
