Marine Electrical Field Service Engineer
Location: Teesside (with UK and international travel)
Salary: £46,000 - £50,000 Overtime available + Excellent Benefits Package

Jackson Hogg has partnered with a well-established and growing engineering business specialising in electrical and automation solutions for the marine, offshore, and renewable energy sectors. With a global client base and headquarters in Teesside, they deliver high-quality engineering, construction, and installation services across a range of high-spec projects.
As part of continued growth, we are now looking to recruit experienced Marine Electrical Field Service Engineers to join the expanding marine and offshore services team.
Key Responsibilities:

Fault finding, repair (to component level), servicing, and testing of electrical systems – from engine room to bridge, including power generation, switchgear, propulsion, automation, and navigation systems.

Planning, scheduling, and procurement of spare parts and service work.
*
Overhaul, upgrades, retrofits, and commissioning of new or modified systems.
*
Close collaboration with electrical and control systems teams to deliver retrofit and new-build solutions.
*
Modifying existing installations to meet project or customer requirements.
*
Mentoring and training of junior personnel as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Ideally experienced at sea in an ETO capacity or similar.
*
Strong track record of fault finding, repairs, retrofits, and commissioning of shipboard systems.
*
Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience in marine engineering or electrical systems).
*
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*
Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and well-organised.
*
IT literate, with sound planning skills.
*
Full UK driving licence essential (company vehicles provided for site work).
