Job Description
Our client is an established, independent Electrical Contractor providing high-quality electrical services to commercial and industrial clients across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they’re looking for a skilled Electrical Estimator to join their team in South Wales. We’re looking for someone that’s has a hands on approach as you’ll be working in a small, close-knit team, collaborating across roles and stepping in to support colleagues during holidays, absence or busy periods — making a real impact every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects
Reviewing project specifications and conducting site visits
Managing cost control and tender documentation
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure precision and competitiveness
Supporting the engineering and contracting teams to deliver efficient solutions
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in electrical estimating and cost control
Knowledge of electrical contracting and systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
Previous industry experience in a similar role
