Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Estimator
Location: London
Salary: £80,000 per annum

The Role:

  * 

    Preparing detailed cost estimates for Electrical Building Services projects.

  * 

    Pricing MEP tenders with values up to £15 million.

  * 

    Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

  * 

    Producing enquiries for suppliers and specialist subcontract packages.

  * 

    Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.

  * 

    Identifying value engineering opportunities and commercial risks.

  * 

    Liaising with clients, consultants and the supply chain to produce competitive tenders.

  * 

    Working closely with the pre-construction team to ensure timely tender submissions.

  * 

    Attending site visits and tender meetings where required.

  * 

    Supporting project handovers following successful tenders.

    Successfully operating for over 20 years.

  * 

    Employs a team of over 100 professionals.

  * 

    Delivers commercial fit-out, refurbishment and shell & core MEP projects across London and the South East.

  * 

    Tender values currently up to £15 million.

  * 

    Strong pipeline of secured work with an excellent reputation for quality and repeat business.

The Ideal Candidate:

  * 

    Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Building Services industry.

  * 

    Experience working for an Electrical or M&E Contractor.

  * 

    Experience pricing commercial Electrical projects.

  * 

    Trimble Estimation software experience is highly desirable.

  * 

    Strong understanding of electrical building services.

  * 

    Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.

  * 

    Strong communication and organisational skills.

  * 

    Able to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines.
