Electrical Estimator
With continued growth and a strong pipeline of high-profile projects, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a long-established and highly respected Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractor based in central of London. With a reputation for delivering excellence in commercial and office fit-out projects, the company offers complete M&E services from concept design to final commissioning, with project values ranging from £100k up to £3m.
About the Role:
As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role during the pre-construction phase of projects, preparing accurate and commercially competitive cost estimates for the electrical elements of M&E tenders. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver winning submissions.

Key Responsibilities - Electrical Estimator:
* Prepare comprehensive tenders for electrical packages ranging from £100k to £3m
* Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents
* Estimate material, labour, and equipment costs
* Conduct risk assessments and identify value-engineering opportunities
* Collaborate with design, project management, and pre-construction teams
* Analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure best value
* Maintain and develop a cost database and historical pricing records
* Assist in producing complete bid submissions and client proposals
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Building Services sector
* Commercial awareness with a keen eye for detail
* Proficient in estimating software and Excel
* Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings with accuracy
* Excellent communication, organisational and negotiating skills
