Our client is an established M&E contractor with a turnover of approximately £22 million per year, known for its professional approach, long-term relationships, and broad project portfolio. As they continue to expand, they’re now looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team in Warrington.
The Opportunity
This is a great role for a capable standalone Electrical Estimator — someone who can confidently take the lead on pricing the electrical element of MEP projects valued between £3M and £8M.
You’ll be working with a friendly and capable pre-construction team, contributing to a diverse range of projects across the built environment, including:
Healthcare
Commercial offices
Education
Decarbonisation and sustainability-led refurbishments
Your Responsibilities
*
Take ownership of electrical estimating for mid- to large-scale MEP projects
*
Work collaboratively with the wider estimating team and senior leadership
*
Analyse drawings, specs, and tender documents to prepare accurate costings
*
Liaise with the supply chain to secure competitive pricing and ensure accuracy
*
Contribute to value engineering, risk analysis, and tender handovers
*
Maintain a clear, methodical approach to all estimating activity
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven experience in an electrical estimating role within the building services sector
*
Strong commercial and technical knowledge
*
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
*
Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit team
*
Familiarity with estimating software and good IT/comms skills
