Job Description
Electrical Fitter
Full Time - Permanaent
We are recruiting for Electrical Fitter to join our growing team.
Key Duties.
Install electrical systems and equipment
Wiring in accordance with regulations and electrical engineering drawings.
Running cables and installing flexible conduit runs.
Termination of control panels and control equipment.
Termination of 3 phase motors and VSD units.
Fitting cable tray and uni strut, other various fitting duties.
Installation and connection of lights, switches and LV equipment
Correctly instruct, supervise and transfer skills to any apprentice or semi-skilled led worker assigned to you to ensure safety and quality of work.
Use safety equipment, PPE and protective devices and equipment
Essential Skills and experience.
Minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar Electrical role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Demonstrates flexibility in order to address business needs.
Computer literate in Microsoft applications
Desirable Qualifications
Formal apprenticeship in Electrical Installation or Fitting.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671
MEWP Licence
Driving License
37.5 hours per week, everything thereafter will be paid at time and one half.
22 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays (accumulating +1 day for every 5 years of service).
