Electrical Fitter – Manufacturing
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Horsham, is seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with strong wiring and assembly skills to play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical and mechanical builds.
Responsibilities:
*
Carrying out electrical wiring, prototype wiring, and electrical fitting to a high standard
*
Crimping, terminating, and assembling cables and harnesses
*
Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
*
Performing light mechanical assembly, including fitting brackets and associated hardware
*
Ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with quality standards
*
Supporting continuous improvement and problem-solving within the workshop
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as an Electrical Fitter, Electrical Assembler, or similar role within manufacturing or engineering
*
Strong wiring and crimping skills, with excellent attention to detail
*
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical schematics
*
Some mechanical assembly skills (e.g. fitting brackets, enclosures, or similar)
*
Flexible, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
*
A qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (desirable but not essential)
