Job Description
Clearfield is currently in the process of establishing an experienced team of Electrical Improvers to join our client's installation team on a large-scale new build project in Aldermaston. This is a long-term contract opportunity for skilled tradespeople with a strong work ethic and a background in electrical or mechanical installations.
Responsibilities
·Installation and fitting of trays and baskets for cables and pipework (150mm-300mm).
·Work from technical and design drawings to ensure accurate installation.
·Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain high safety standards.
·Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working order.
·Identify and resolve on-site installation issues promptly.
Requirements
·Valid ECS/CSCS Card.
·IPAF 3a/3b certification.
·Proven experience as an electrical or mechanical improver on commercial or new build sites.
·Strong knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems, hand tools, and power tools.
·Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
·18th Edition qualification (preferred).
·Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
·Full UK driving licence (beneficial).
