Role Overview:
Our client, a global leader in power cable technology and solutions, is seeking a qualified Electrical Inspector to support transmission cable inspection and testing activities. This ad hoc role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in transmission cable systems, looking to contribute to high-profile energy infrastructure projects in a flexible capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections and testing of transmission cable installations and components.
Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and quality protocols.
Review engineering documentation, test reports, and cable schematics.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to identify and resolve electrical issues.
Document inspection results and provide detailed feedback to stakeholders.
Support quality assurance and regulatory compliance efforts.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience in transmission cable systems and electrical inspection.
Strong understanding of HV electrical infrastructure and cable technologies.
Familiarity with European electrical standards and safety regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to an ad hoc schedule.
Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
