Role Overview:
Our client, a global leader in energy and telecom cable systems, is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to support inspection and testing activities focused on onshore high-voltage (HV) cables and monitoring system hardware. This ad hoc role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in HV cable systems and electrical monitoring technologies, looking to contribute to innovative infrastructure projects in a flexible capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and testing of onshore HV cable systems and associated hardware.
Evaluate and verify the performance of monitoring system hardware used in cable installations.
Review technical documentation, schematics, and test reports.
Collaborate with engineering and site teams to identify and resolve electrical issues.
Ensure compliance with client's quality standards and relevant safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience with onshore HV cables and electrical inspection.
Technical knowledge of monitoring system hardware and its integration with HV systems.
Familiarity with European electrical standards and safety protocols.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and adapt to an ad hoc schedule.
Fluent in English; Italian language skills are a plus.
Additional Information:
This is a contract-based role with flexible scheduling.
