The Role of the Electrical Installation Engineer
As the Electrical Installation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth installation and operation of electrical systems and components. Your responsibilities will include:
Verifying the positioning of instrumentation according to technical drawings and diagrams
Supervising the installation of instrumentation and recording progress
Identifying and addressing technical challenges during the installation process
Participating in site meetings and collaborating with the electrical manager
Promoting and enforcing a strong safety culture on site
What We're Looking For
The ideal Electrical Installation Engineer will possess the following qualifications and skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
4+ years of exposure as an electrical installation engineer, preferably in the energy sector
1+ years track record with CCGT power plants
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety and compliance
Proficient project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work
