Job Description
Job Purpose:
To deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Electrical Installation to full-time learners and apprentices, ensuring they gain the skills, knowledge, and qualifications needed to succeed in the electrical trade. The role includes lesson planning, assessment, curriculum development, and supporting student progression.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Level 1–3 Electrical Installation programmes.
*
Teach a range of subjects including wiring systems, regulations (18th Edition), and testing.
*
Prepare learners for practical assessments, exams, and workplace readiness.
*
Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and support individual learning needs.
*
Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and assessment outcomes.
*
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment in line with college policies.
*
Contribute to curriculum development and course reviews.
Essential Criteria:
*
Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Electrical Installation or a related discipline.
*
Industry experience and up-to-date knowledge of current electrical standards.
*
Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one, e.g., PGCE or Cert Ed).
*
Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
